Local musician Donald Barra has found a way to let people see music
happen. His latest electronic book, “Bending Music,” employs the use of
spectrograms to help the reader/listener visualize what’s happening in
music with a colorful reproduction of soundwaves in the air.
Now that tablets and phones have the computational power our main
studio machines did just a few short years ago, there’s every reason to
look to these gizmos for music. For a person patching in Pure Data (Pd),
the free graphical sound environment, it means you can liberate the
stuff you’re making from your computer and put it on something portable.
Le Li-Fi, acronyme de « Light Fidelity », est une technologie de
communication à distance sans fil basé sur la lumière LED visible. Cette
innovation repose sur la transmission de données numériques à distance
par modulation de la lumière à une fréquence tellement élevée qu’elle
n’est pas perceptible par l’œil humain. Ces modulations sont tout
simplement interprétée comme du langage binaire composé de 0 et de 1.
L'architecte Nicolas Basic à construit un orgue fonctionnant grâce aux courants marins et créant une mélodie mystérieuse à partir d'une gamme pentatonique, pour l'avoir écouté c'est très beau et cela créé vraiment une ambiance marine!
